Studio And Mission

Her Studio Practice Is Also Her Protest
From her Dubai studio, Ranjisha creates artworks that do more than decorate they awaken. Each painting responds to what the world is losing: endangered species, fragile ecosystems, and inner silence.

Ranjisha Raghavan: Biography
Ranjisha Raghavan is a Dubai-based, self-taught mixed media artist known for transforming memory, emotion, and endangered beauty into layered visual compositions.
Her artistic journey began in 2014 not in a studio, but at her coffee table, when her daughter’s forgotten paint box sparked a moment of curiosity. This moment grew into a calling. By 2016, she left a 15+ year career in the Oil & Gas industry to pursue art full-time and founded Mystic Arts by
Ranjisha.
Since then, Ranjisha has participated in over 25 exhibitions across the UAE and India, with her works now featured in luxury villas, boutique hotels, and private retreats all over UAE.
Her art lives at the intersection of nature, emotion, and memory combining abstract realism, textured surrealism, and earthy palettes. She is deeply committed to sustainability, using ethically sourced paints and natural materials.

Ranjisha is also:
A trained Indian classical dancer (since age 3), with national awards and stage performances to her name. Dance was her first canvas, teaching her rhythm, storytelling, and expression qualities that now flow through every brushstroke.
A lifelong animal lover whose journey into conservation began when her daughter brought home a rescued kitten, Cocoa. What started as hesitation turned into a bond that awakened her compassion for animals. Today, she shares her home with three cats whose silent wisdom continues to inspire her art and her advocacy for animal rights.
Certified in Art Therapy Practice, helping individuals explore and heal through art-based methods.
“My work is not just visual. It is memory keeping, protest, healing, and storytelling all layered into paint.”
But Ranjisha is more than an artist she’s a movement. Her mission is to give voice to the voiceless from endangered wildlife to fading human moments. Each piece she creates is a quiet protest, a form of emotional conservation, and a tribute to what is still worth protecting.
“My work is not just visual. It is
memory-keeping, protest, healing, and
storytelling all layered into paint.”
